LERASEPT FORTE - acidic disinfectant

Formula and properties

LERASEPT FORTE　is a fast-acting, non-foaming, peracetic acid- and oxidised water-based liquid disinfectant. The product destroys all types of microorganisms, including in cold water. It can be used on materials made of stainless, zinc-coated and alloy steel, aluminium and acid-resistant plastics. It is characterised by a high level of biodegradability, as it decays decomposes solely into oxygen and water, substances that pose no harm to the natural environment.

Scope of application:

LERASEPT FORTE may be used with any method of disinfection, i.e. circulation, spray or immersion disinfection, across the entire food processing process.

- disinfection of piping systems, flow-through installations, monoblocs, heat exchangers, separators, pasteurisers, storage and fermentation tanks, mixers;

- spray disinfection of table surfaces, devices, floors and walls on manufacturing floors;　

- disinfection of tankers, misting

- immersion disinfection of devices and machine parts

- purification of process and technical water:

duration of contact: at least 1 hour, concentration: 0.005 – 0.05 %, i.e. 0.005 kg　 -　 0.05 kg of the product per 100 kg of water.

Long-term disinfection (up to 12 hours) – concentration of 0.07%. After completing the disinfection process, rinse with potable water. Solutions must be prepared directly before use.
